Coffee Tasting

Before importing your coffee beans, we search for the variety that best meets your requirements.

Do you want a light coffee?

In a cupping session, we taste various types and blends with you. You personally assess the aroma, flavor, and quality. Together, we search for the ideal flavor profile.

Quality Control

Thorough Quality Control

The first control occurs just before shipment. We receive a sample which is subjected to various tests. We examine the appearance of the green coffee beans (size, color), count the number of defects, and assess the smell and aroma. Finally, our entire team tastes the coffee. Additionally, an accredited laboratory in the country of origin tests, among other things, the moisture content. Each subsequent delivery must match the approved reference sample.

A second quality control takes place upon arrival at the Antwerp port. We take new samples of each type. These are again tested and tasted.

The coffee's moisture content is re-checked, and we regularly conduct OTA tests. Periodically, samples are sent to a government-recognized laboratory. Standard OTA and pesticide tests are conducted, but other analyses can be performed upon request.

Delivery

Customized Delivery Method

We deliver your green coffee beans as you wish. Whether in bulk, big bags, blended, standard packaging, or tailor-made packaging, food safety and traceability rules are always a priority.

Options:

For smaller quantities: You can pick up your coffee beans from our storage hall in the port. Inform us in advance of your visit, and our warehouse staff will assist you with loading.
Have your coffee beans delivered by your own transport company. Let us know where, when, and how your coffee beans should be delivered. We will contact your transport company and provide the necessary delivery instructions.
Have your coffee beans delivered through a transport company via Rucquoy. If you don't have a regular transport company, we can arrange one for you. Provide us with your instructions, and your coffee beans will arrive at the right place and time.
